Terms and Conditions of Registration
Dear valued client, in line with Monglish International Academy's commitment to ensuring the maximum educational benefit for trainees, and to safeguarding the rights of both the trainee and the Academy, please carefully review and approve the following Terms and Conditions governing the educational process:
Attendance Instructions
1. The trainee must join the lecture at the scheduled time sent by the class supervisors. Please note that the maximum permitted delay is fifteen (15) minutes only. If this period is exceeded, the trainee will be marked absent. In such case, the trainee may refer only to the recorded lecture and may not request an alternative live lecture.
2. The permitted absence rate shall not exceed two (2) lectures per level, provided that the absence is supported by a valid excuse. If this limit is exceeded, the level will be repeated and deducted from the trainee's remaining level balance.
3. The formation of a new group may take from fourteen (14) days to one (1) month, depending on the student's language level.
4. Study in the main classes and groups is conducted through group classes to ensure linguistic interaction among students and improve language fluency.
5. The student is not entitled to refrain from completing academic assignments under any circumstances. Failure to complete assignments for two (2) lectures may require the trainee to repeat the level and bear the cost of that level. Please note that the educational process has been designed according to the immersion methodology to ensure maximum benefit. Therefore, completing the required assignments regularly plays a key role in improving the trainee's language level and fluency.
6. The trainee must comply with the following requirements:
- Use a computer, laptop, or suitable tablet screen as a minimum requirement during the lecture.
- Use a suitable camera throughout the lecture to ensure the quality of the educational process and facilitate communication between the teacher and the trainee.
- Attend from a quiet place away from noise, while using one of the backgrounds specified by Customer Service or sitting in front of a plain wall at home to ensure the trainee's privacy.
- Attending the lecture while wearing home clothes or sleepwear is strictly prohibited for children. This is based on our belief that the educational experience starts with small details, and our commitment to creating a serious, motivating learning environment that resembles real-life practice.
If the trainee is found not to be complying with the above requirements, the lecture provided to the trainee will be suspended and training will be paused until the Terms and Conditions of study are observed.
7. The parent/guardian may not interfere during the lecture, interrupt the teacher, or sit next to the trainee under any circumstances, except in the foundation stage. This is to avoid distracting the trainee and the other trainees and to ensure full benefit from the lecture. In the event of a violation, the trainee will not be allowed to complete the lecture.
8. Club attendance is linked to the subscription period of the main packages. The client may not accumulate club sessions or request access to clubs after the end of the main package subscription.
9. The student may request the issuance of the accredited international certificate in PDF format upon completing the core language levels according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
10. The student shall bear the international shipping fees of the certificate if a hard copy is requested. Shipping cost varies according to the destination country.
11. The class or group supervisor is the main and sole point of contact between parents/guardians, trainees, teachers, and the Academy's senior management. This is to ensure that teachers remain fully dedicated to delivering the highest-quality educational process. Accordingly, direct communication with teachers is strictly prohibited. If the trainee or parent/guardian wishes to meet the teacher or the academic manager of the educational stage, coordination must first be made with the class supervisor to arrange the meeting.
12. The trainee may transfer from one group to another, provided that an official request is submitted to the class supervisor at least one (1) month before the start of the next level, to allow the Student Affairs Department to arrange the available schedules. The transfer shall take place only after the student fully completes the current level.
13. The client may request an upgrade to a higher package. The price difference shall be calculated based on the original package price without any discounts, and the difference must be paid in cash. The client may not request a downgrade to a lower package.
14. If the trainee's balance of paid levels ends, the trainee may not move to the next level until the subscription renewal fee is paid. Therefore, the trainee must commit to renewing the subscription while attending the final level in their available balance.
15. If the trainee is absent or does not respond to the class supervisor for two (2) consecutive sessions, the level will be repeated and its value will be deducted from the trainee's level balance. If the trainee continues not to respond for thirty (30) days, the full remaining level balance will be forfeited, and the trainee shall not be entitled to claim a refund of any paid amounts.
16. If the client requests to retake the placement test, a fee of twenty-five US dollars (USD 25) shall be paid for the test.
Seat Reservation Policy with Contract Deposit
1. An amount of one hundred US dollars (USD 100) shall be paid as an advance payment to reserve an early seat, provided that the full subscription fee is paid before the 5th day of the month following the reservation date.
2. The placement test will not be conducted until the remaining reservation amount has been paid.
3. For current clients only, when using the reservation deposit for renewal, the trainee may suspend study for a maximum period of three (3) months after paying USD 100.
4. The client may not request a refund of the reservation deposit if payment of the remaining amount is delayed beyond the specified deadline. In such case, the reservation will be considered cancelled.
Temporary Suspension / Freezing of Levels Policy
1. The trainee may request a temporary suspension/freezing of the subscription for a maximum period of two (2) months only from the date of payment of the subscription fee and before taking the placement test. This does not apply to the two-month package.
2. The trainee may not request to stop during the study period under any circumstances. Exceptions are limited to force majeure cases in which suspension is permitted for a maximum period of one (1) month, provided that the trainee submits an official request to the class supervisor at least two (2) weeks before the suspension date to allow coordination of schedules with the Student Affairs Department. This does not apply to the two-month study package. The Academy's management has the right to accept or reject the submitted request, with clarification provided to the trainee. Please note that this may result in changing the student's group and study schedule, and consequently changing the teacher.
3. If the freezing period exceeds thirty (30) days, the trainee forfeits the right to claim the value of the remaining level balance.
4. The trainee may not request freezing or postponement of study if the trainee has reached the last level in their balance. If the subscription is renewed again, freezing will be permitted in accordance with the conditions stated in the previous points.
Level Transfer Policy
1. The trainee may transfer the level balance to another current trainee who is already subscribed to the Academy, provided that the request is submitted at least one (1) month, i.e., one academic level, in advance, and the administrative transfer fee of fifty US dollars (USD 50) is paid.
2. If the transfer is made to a new trainee from outside the Academy, i.e., not currently subscribed to the Academy, an additional twenty-five US dollars (USD 25) placement test fee will be added for the new trainee, in addition to the level transfer fee.
3. The student may request to transfer the level balance from a lower package to a higher package, subject to payment of the price difference between the packages, in addition to the transfer fees referred to above.
Installment Policy
1. If the Academy provides a direct installment system according to the Academy's offers, this shall be arranged by contacting the Academy's representatives or by visiting the official website.
2. An additional percentage of 10% shall be added to the package price compared to the cash payment price.
3. The trainee must pay the first installment on its due date, which is thirty (30) days from the study start date.
4. The installment is collected one (1) month from the payment date and is not linked to the level start date.
5. If the installment is not paid by the due date, the trainee will be suspended from study and the trainee's account on the learning platform will be suspended.
6. If the trainee does not commit to paying the installment on its due date, study will be temporarily suspended for a maximum period of one (1) week from the due date until payment is made. If payment is not made, the remaining level balance will be forfeited, and the trainee shall not be entitled to claim any financial dues.
7. If the trainee wishes to return to study again, additional fees of fifty US dollars (USD 50) shall apply.
8. The maximum period allowed for payment of an overdue installment is five (5) working days.
9. In case of early payment of installments, the client shall receive a discount of 10% on installments paid before their due date.
Payment Methods
The only approved payment methods accepted by Monglish International Academy are:
- The company's official website: www.monglish.co.uk
- Payment through a direct payment link provided by an Academy representative.
- The company's official bank accounts.
The Academy shall not recognize any payment made through any method other than those listed above. The trainee must retain the approved payment receipt to safeguard their rights.
Payment Confirmation
- Payment by bank card may take up to one (1) working day to be confirmed.
- Bank transfers may take up to three (3) working days for fee collection to be confirmed.
- Payment confirmation through exchange offices may take up to fifteen (15) working days.
Communication and Complaints Policy
1. The Academy provides a dedicated platform for complaints and suggestions through the following link: https://complaints.monglish.co.uk/
2. All trainees may communicate with class supervisors to ensure that inquiries, complaints, or suggestions are received. The trainee or parent/guardian must submit the inquiry while providing the trainee's details and contact numbers. If a satisfactory response cannot be provided, the class supervisor will arrange a meeting with one of the relevant parties: Customer Service Experts, Class Trainers, the Customer Service Manager, or the Academic Manager.
3. A monthly parents' meeting is held with the class supervisor, the educational process manager, and the class trainer to hear all complaints and suggestions and to review the trainee's academic level during the study period.
4. A survey link is sent periodically by the class supervisor, and it is reviewed by the Academy's senior management.

Refund Policy
1. The trainee may request a refund of the subscription fee before taking the placement test, subject to a deduction of 5% as administrative fees from the total training fee. The trainee shall also bear any bank charges related to the transfer of the refunded amount.
2. The trainee may request a refund of the subscription fee after taking the placement test, subject to a deduction of 5% as administrative fees and 7% in case of payment through Tabby or Tamara, in addition to twenty-five US dollars (USD 25) as the placement test fee from the total training fee. The trainee shall also bear any bank charges related to the international transfer of the refunded amount.
3. The trainee may request a refund of the subscription fee after attending the first lecture only. In this case, the full value of the level will be deducted based on the original package price without any discounts that the trainee may have received, i.e., from the net amount collected from the trainee. In addition, 5% administrative fees, and 7% in case of payment through Tabby or Tamara, will be deducted from the total fees. The trainee shall also bear any bank charges related to the international transfer of the refunded amount. The client may complete the level.
4. The trainee may not refund the tuition fees under any circumstances after attending the second lecture of the course.
5. The trainee may not request a refund of the fees if the levels have been frozen before taking the placement test.
6. In all refund cases, the refund request form must be completed to clarify the reasons and facilitate communication.
7. The refund period ranges from fourteen (14) to twenty-one (21) working days, according to bank transfer policies.
8. The client may request a refund at any time only in the event that the institution breaches the terms of the service provided.
Cookie Policy
When making transactions, we use a secure server. The Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol encrypts all information entered before it is sent to us. Additionally, all sensitive customer data we collect is protected by multiple layers of encryption and various security measures to prevent unauthorized access. Our payment gateway, Stripe, has achieved Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance. You can find all of Stripe's agreements at https://stripe.com/en-gb/legal/ssa.
Credit Card Details / Information
All card payments are securely processed through the Stripe payment gateway. Monglish Academy does not store any card information on its servers.
Payment Information
When submitting or updating your payment information initially, It is done directly with Stripe as the payment processor. The payment processor uses and processes your payment information according to their privacy policy. Monglish Academy does not store your payment information, except for the postal code and country, which we need for invoicing and compliance with government regulations.
End User Payment Information
Your end user payment information may be processed through the Stripe payment processor in accordance with Stripe's terms and policies. We do not collect or store your end user payment information.
Your Consent / Acceptance / Accept
By using our website, you agree to the collection and use of this information. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to keep you aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances we disclose it.
The Payment Gateway Information
We offer discount and card payments for all our users. Card payments are processed directly through the SSL 256 encryption protocol to ensure the security of your personal data. Once again, none of your card details are stored.
